Administrative Manager at the Institute of Pathology
The Institute of Pathology of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (DMLP) is seeking an administrative manager on a permanent contract between 80% - 100%.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Institute of Pathology comprises more than 100 people and fulfils the missions of diagnosis, teaching, and research. It participates in clinical investigations conducted at CHUV and cooperates with clinical researchers on institutional and industry projects, in compliance with current regulations and good clinical practices. The Institute of Pathology is accredited according to ISO 15189 standard.
Mission
- You actively participate in the administrative and organisational management of the service
- You manage administrative activities related to personnel movements and monitoring
- You ensure the administrative and financial monitoring of accounts and funds
- You ensure the application of internal processes and contribute to the quality approach
- You supervise the administrative team
- You organise the service's events.
Profile
- You hold a degree in management from a business school (HEG) or an equivalent qualification
- You have a certification in health institution management, an asset (e.g., CAS)
- You have 5 years of experience in public administration, hospital, or health sector
- You have excellent writing skills
- You are recognised for your strong sense of organisation, planning, and priority management
- You demonstrate autonomy, rigour, and flexibility
- You are able to work effectively under stress.
