Shape the energy future with us! Do you want to drive challenging infrastructure projects? Then you are exactly right at Axpo. As a Project Engineer Biomass with a focus on electrical and automation engineering, you are responsible for the electrical planning and implementation of our biomass and biogas projects - from the initial idea to commissioning.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
You are responsible for your specialist area of electrical and automation engineering in projects of all sizes - from planning and building permit application through procurement to implementation. You keep an eye on costs, deadlines and quality and regularly coordinate with the overall project manager on project progress.
You plan electrical systems as well as control and monitoring technology systems, define technical concepts and interfaces, and coordinate the implementation of building permit requirements.
You prepare technical reports, documents and specifications, develop cost calculations and budgets, and support the project teams as an electrical engineering expert.
You conduct tenders, prepare the necessary documents professionally and on time, and accompany awarding and procurement.
You coordinate external planning and programming services as well as the creation of plans, schematics and technical documentation. In addition, you supervise assembly, accompany commissioning and ensure a structured handover to operations.
You represent Axpo as the client in your field of expertise and coordinate building permit procedures as well as technical clarifications with authorities, specialist planners and contractors.
You contribute ideas, help shape processes and continuously develop our working methods. Depending on interest and development, further advancement towards overall project management is possible.
Profile & Requirements:
You have completed basic electrical training, for example as an electrician, electrical planner, automation technician or a comparable qualification.
You have an advanced qualification in electrical engineering, for example as a technician HF or engineer FH. An equivalent qualification based on many years of successful professional experience is also suitable.
You have experience in planning, designing, tendering and realising electrical systems as well as control and monitoring technology systems.
You are familiar with the relevant Swiss standards, regulations and safety requirements and apply them confidently. Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems, measurement technology, drives and system commissioning is an advantage.
Experience with biogas plants as well as energy and process plants is a plus.
You work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner, grasp new topics quickly and keep an overview even with several parallel projects.
You have very good German language skills in spoken and written form.
Does this new challenge electrify you? Roger Hofer looks forward to your application.
About the Team:
We work on projects that advance sustainable energy supply in Switzerland. You can expect a well-coordinated team in a professional and varied environment. We exchange ideas openly, support each other and value well-thought-out technical solutions. If you enjoy working both in the office and on our plants and tackling topics independently, you will fit well with us. Become part of our growing engineering team!
There is the possibility of up to 40% home office.
Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications from personnel service providers, so only direct applications will be accepted.
