To complete its team, the medical management control, attached to the Finance Directorate, is looking for a medical coding specialist at HFR
Coding Manager
Your missions
- You lead a team of 11 collaborators, both technically and organisationally
- You ensure the timely closure of coding for the acute inpatient care domain and for ST Reha
- You contribute to the development and implementation of projects in the field of medical coding
- You actively develop collaboration with other HFR services
- You provide basic and continuing training in medical coding, within the team as well as to other professional groups
- You independently manage the follow-up of coding audits and reviews
- You handle reimbursement refusals from health insurance funds and set up dedicated controlling which you manage
Your profile
- Training in medical coding is essential; the federal diploma as a specialist in medical coding is an asset
- Recognised training in public health, with several years of professional experience and very good knowledge of anatomy, terminology, pathology, biology and medical-surgical techniques
- Proven experience in medical coding in a Swiss hospital environment, complemented by management experience
- French language with very good knowledge of German
- Communicative personality with excellent leadership skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office
