The Outpatient Department within Clinical Operations ensures that everything runs smoothly in our medical specialties from appointment scheduling to reporting, Monday to Friday during regulated daytime working hours.

For this versatile, responsible, and lively role, we are looking for a committed individual as a specialist for the orthopaedic outpatient clinic, starting immediately or by arrangement. The preferred working days are Tuesday full day, Wednesday half day, and Thursday full day.

Your Tasks

• Ensuring the smooth running of outpatient clinics and assisting in other specialist areas
• Scheduling outpatient, treatment, and diagnostic appointments
• Preparation and follow-up of outpatient rooms (checking and replenishing materials and medications, providing and cleaning equipment, preparing outpatient-specific lists, forms, and brochures)
• Transcribing from dictation, correcting medical reports and sending them, independently processing and setting up workflows
• Coordinating internal and external enquiries from patients and referrers via email and telephone (reports, prescriptions, appointments)
• Meticulous maintenance of electronic patient records (KISIM/Business Central)
• Where applicable, performing specific tasks in the area of deployment with patient care and assistance in outpatient clinics

Your Profile

• A completed vocational training as MPA, medical secretary
• A strong affinity for handling medical-technical devices and computers
• Forward-looking organisational talent as well as a reliable, team-oriented, solution-focused, and distinctly patient- and service-oriented personality
• With your confident German and solid terminology knowledge, you reflect our professionalism in transcribing from dictation as well as in handling all correspondence
• You are a reliable, team-oriented, solution-focused, and distinctly patient- and service-oriented personality with organisational talent and enthusiasm for the profession
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary teamwork
• Willingness to contribute ideas, learn new things, and help shape the further development of the outpatient clinics
