About the job

Your main tasks will be as follows:

• Preparation, control and cleaning of databases;
• Conducting statistical analyses on the collected data;
• Production of visualisations and presentation materials of the results;
• Contribution to the drafting of the overall SafeCareCH report and individual reports intended for the participating hospitals.

Your assets:

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, data science or a related field. Training at EPFL, another federal polytechnic school or currently pursuing a Master’s in statistics, data science or a related discipline is an advantage;
• Excellent command of the R software for data management, statistical analysis (descriptive analyses, regressions) and data visualisation. Knowledge of Stata software is desirable;
• Good command of French and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of German would be a plus;
• Ability to work independently, with rigour and organisational skills;
• Intellectual curiosity, analytical mind and interest in applied research;
• Commitment, reliability and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
