The Pfarrer Sieber Social Work Foundation (SWS) is committed to helping those in need based on the Gospel. With around 200 employees and 250 volunteers, it operates several facilities in the health and social sectors in Zurich and the surrounding area, offering assistance particularly with homelessness, substance dependency, and other related health and social issues.
We are looking for you from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement for our facilities in Zurich:
Technical Service Employee 80 – 100 % (preferably 80%)
A role that challenges:
- Ensuring an adequate structural and technical infrastructure for our SWS operations
- Technical and business management for our ten locations
- Responsibility for the building services systems (HVAC) in the new Glaubten building, Zurich-Affoltern
- Co-responsibility for the operation and maintenance of all properties
- Responsibility for the locking system of the entire foundation
- Planning and execution of repairs and maintenance work
- Regular telephone on-call duty at weekends
A profile that convinces:
- Mechanical-technical basic training with EFZ qualification
- Extensive professional experience in technical building maintenance
- In-depth knowledge of modern locking technology, ideally Gantner/Salto
- Experience in control technology
- Strong hands-on mentality as well as an independent and solution-oriented working style
- Understanding of people in difficult life situations
- Team-oriented working style and high flexibility
- Driving licence category B
