IT Application Manager (m/f/d) 80 - 100%

GVTG is an independent public-law service company based in Frauenfeld. It is managed according to non-profit but economic principles and insures buildings in the canton of Thurgau against fire and natural hazards, supports the fire brigades, and deals with damage prevention in the interest of protecting people and property. The legal mandate of GVTG is primarily based on the Building Insurance Act and the Fire Protection Act.

To strengthen the IT team, we are looking for a convincing personality as of now or by arrangement

• You are responsible for the support and continuous further development of the specialist applications in the areas of finance, DMS, as well as SharePoint and the data inventories according to the IT and digitization strategy
• You are responsible for the introduction and implementation of business requirements by creating your own concepts and realizing them in collaboration with business stakeholders
• You lead IT-related projects or participate in such projects
• You represent the concerns of internal customers towards our external IT partners and support client management
• You analyze and resolve support requests by phone or in writing. You document and track the reported cases to ensure a quick and effective solution
• You are the first point of contact for employees with questions or problems related to our specialist applications and general ICT questions (first and second level support)

• You have at least a successfully completed training as an IT specialist EFZ and experience in application support - experience in support or service desk is an advantage
• You have in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft environment, Office365, SharePoint, as well as experience with IT security topics
• You also have solid experience with modern software architectures and web applications
• Knowledge of MS SQL as well as system and user administration (AD, Azure) is an advantage
• You are characterized by a high level of commitment and have a strong interest in technical topics and consulting activities
• You have excellent German skills in spoken and written form; technical English is an advantage
• Open communication, teamwork, helpfulness, as well as a pronounced customer and service orientation towards internal and external contacts complete your profile.
