Spital Wallis is looking for a:

Head of Medical Coding & Medical Controlling 80-100% for the Spitalzentrum Oberwallis in the Medical Coding department.

Your tasks:

• Professional and personnel management as well as further development of the Medical Coding team
• Responsibility for medical controlling and its further development
• Ensuring complete medical documentation and correct revenue representation
• Strategic and structural further development of Medical Coding
• Close collaboration with medical staff, nursing, controlling and other relevant interfaces

 Your profile:

• Several years of experience in medical coding / medical controlling, ideally with leadership experience
• Medical or comparable professional basic training, ideally complemented by sound knowledge of medical coding
• Strong understanding of medical and business management contexts
• Good IT user skills as well as an analytical and structured working style
• Communicative, assertive and decisive personality with a high degree of personal responsibility
