The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection molded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling to metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts in-house as possible. This keeps us agile, independent, and efficient.

This is what you can achieve:

Responsible for the strategic alignment of the electronics commodity group in an industrial environment.

Analyze and evaluate commodity groups, define and implement strategies and measures.

Responsible for professional, worldwide supplier management (evaluation, selection, assessment, development).

Conduct targeted procurement market research and monitoring, as well as identifying new trends.

Create and negotiate contracts, conduct price negotiations, and secure the best conditions.

Ensure availability in close coordination with the specialist and project purchasers.

Represent purchasing interests in committees and projects.

Adhere to processes, governance, and compliance

This is what you bring:

Completed commercial basic training or technical training with commercial further education

Completed further training as a purchasing specialist

Several years of experience in strategic purchasing in an industrial environment

Reliable personality with entrepreneurial thinking

Independent, structured, and conscientious working style

Initiative, negotiation skills, and assertiveness

Open, communicative, and integral team player

Fluent in German and English, spoken and written
