As a Customer Liaison Manager at Bayer, you will be at the heart of our clinical development success, responsible for cultivating and managing our most important relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and scientific organizations. With a customer-first mindset, you will leverage your deep understanding of the healthcare landscape to foster powerful partnerships, ensuring that collaboration and scientific exchange drive our innovations forward. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute strategic, customer-centric initiatives, including high-profile Investigator Meetings and site engagement activities, to align with our global development goals.
- Establish and nurture trusted, long-term relationships with investigators, site personnel, and Key Opinion Leaders, fostering a collaborative environment of scientific exchange and operational excellence.
- Partner seamlessly with cross-functional teams such as Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Compliance to ensure synergy and transparency across all customer-centric programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key internal and external stakeholders, delivering clear, high-impact communications and effectively resolving challenges to ensure project success.
- Uphold the highest standards of compliance and governance, ensuring all activities adhere to GxP, ICH-GCP, and Bayer's SOPs.
- Manage project budgets with precision, overseeing forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation for all investigator and site engagement activities.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by capturing learnings, implementing best practices, and contributing to the evolution of Bayer's clinical customer experience.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Life Sciences, or a related discipline; advanced education or certifications in Project Management, Clinical Research, or Omnichannel are a strong asset.
- Long-term professional experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong background in clinical development, operations, and a thorough understanding of the R&D value chain.
- Demonstrated experience in KOL management, investigator engagement, and site collaboration, with an advanced understanding of the drug development process across different phases.
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex, cross-functional projects in an agile and outcome-focused manner, with a solution-oriented mindset to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience driving change and delivering results in a complex business environment, coupled with strong operational execution capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for explaining complex topics in a clear and engaging way.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, influencing outcomes with accountability and without direct authority.
- A highly self-organized and proactive mindset, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement, inclusivity, and a passion for driving innovation.
