Your tasks:
- Independent control and operation of excavators for sorting, processing, and loading recycling materials, especially metals and other valuable materials
- Efficient loading, unloading, and handling of recycling materials
- Carrying out regular inspections and minor maintenance work (e.g. oil level checks, cleaning air filters, general machine cleaning) to ensure trouble-free operation
- Accurate recording and documentation of work processes, material movements, and machine condition
- Reporting technical faults or deviations to supervisors or the workshop
Your profile:
- Several years of practical experience in handling excavators and other heavy machinery, ideally in recycling, construction, or material handling
- Basic knowledge of mechanics as well as maintenance and care of machines
- Careful handling of machines and materials while complying with all applicable safety and accident prevention regulations
- Ability to collaborate constructively in a team and coordinate with colleagues to organise workflows efficiently
- Reliability, accuracy, and a high degree of personal responsibility in carrying out tasks
