Are you motivated by the idea of leading strategically significant transformation programmes and successfully and sustainably driving complex initiatives in Zurich Switzerland's Life business?

In this role, you take overall responsibility for the planning and implementation of such strategic major projects. You manage these programmes across various areas and workstreams, create transparency about progress and risks, and ensure successful implementation together with experienced internal and external stakeholders.

What to expect

• You lead strategic projects in Zurich Switzerland's life insurance business and bear overall responsibility for scope, schedule, project governance, budget, quality, and successful implementation.
• You develop the implementation roadmap, structure the required workstreams, and manage dependencies, milestones, and resources.
• You lead interdisciplinary project teams, coordinate internal and external partners, and ensure targeted collaboration across various areas.
• You identify operational, financial, and organisational risks early, develop appropriate measures, and create transparency towards the relevant decision-making and steering committees.
• You professionally prepare steering committees and management decisions, ensure communication tailored to the audience, and secure the sustainable anchoring of results.

What sets you apart

• Several years of experience in leading complex, strategic major projects or transformation programmes, ideally in the insurance or financial services environment
• Proven experience in managing multiple workstreams as well as leading interdisciplinary teams and external partners
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence in working with senior and executive stakeholders
• Strong risk awareness, negotiation skills, and the ability to structure complex situations and make sound decisions
• High initiative, implementation strength, clear communication, and very good German and English skills
