Designer / Technical Sales Support (m/f/d)

For over 70 years, SCHÖTTLI has set international standards in the development and manufacture of high-performance injection moulds. We offer our demanding customers all key areas from prototype construction, state-of-the-art toolmaking to aftermarket services from a single source. Schöttli AG is part of the globally active and very successful HUSKY group and the recognised specialist in the medical sector within the group.

Your tasks: In this key position in the sales process, you can expect a varied and exciting range of tasks:

• Record and review customer enquiries: In the team, you evaluate the received tool enquiries, decide on the best technical solution approach and maintain close contact with the respective salespeople

• Develop innovative solutions: You proactively contribute to the development of our tool solutions and independently carry out the necessary clarifications with the relevant departments/experts

• Sales / marketing support: You support our global sales organisation in the preparation of project- and product-specific as well as technical documentation and presentations to reflect the Schöttli-specific values

• Proactive communication: You maintain close contact with the relevant departments and are the competent support and link for our sales organisation on technical questions

Your profile: For this exciting role with development potential, you bring the following qualifications and strengths:

• Team spirit and initiative: You are a true team player with a positive attitude, high motivation and enjoyment of new challenges

• Solid professional training: You have completed training as a toolmaker or designer and have several years of design experience in mould making. You also work confidently with Siemens Teamcenter and NX (Unigraphics)

• Professional experience and technical understanding: You have several years of experience in tool and mould making and are familiar with common tool technologies including hot runner systems

• Computer skills: Proficient use of the entire MS Office suite is expected

• Language skills: Good German skills in spoken and written form are a matter of course for you. English skills are an advantage. Willingness to learn English is required

• Communication skills: You are confident in communication and can convincingly present the developed technical solutions to our customers

• Quick learning and solution orientation: You have a quick grasp in a complex environment, are open to new solution approaches and are always customer- and solution-oriented

• Potential: After thorough familiarisation, an intensification of active sales support with direct customer contact is conceivable if both parties are interested

• Willingness to travel: up to 10%
