About the job

• Planning and control of the daily operation of hydropower plants taking into account water flow, water retention, energy demand and technical conditions
• Continuous monitoring of plant conditions, energy production and system feedback to ensure trouble-free operation
• Work in rotating shift operation (7 x 24 hours / 365 days)
• Contact person for energy trading and transmission system operator Swissgrid
• Various administrative tasks for the operations centre in the back office

• Technical basic training (electrician EFZ, automation technician EFZ, network electrician EFZ, polymechanic EFZ or comparable qualifications)
• Reliable and independent working style
• Forward-looking and analytical thinking
• Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented even in hectic situations
• High flexibility and willingness to work varying hours according to shift schedule
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness for continuous further training
