Automation Technician - Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- You install, commission, and maintain electrical controls and automation systems in mechanical engineering plants.
- You search for faults and rectify them in electrical circuits and control components.
- You programme and optimise PLC controls as well as HMI systems.
- You maintain close communication with the engineering team for the continuous development of automation solutions.
- You ensure compliance with safety standards and quality guidelines during installation and maintenance.
- You document installations, repairs, and maintenance work.
Qualifications:
- You have completed vocational training as an automation technician (m/f/d) with EFZ basic training.
- You have experience in programming PLC controls, ideally with Siemens or Beckhoff systems.
- You possess expertise in maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical circuits.
- You demonstrate strong teamwork skills and work independently.
- You have knowledge of CAD software for creating circuit diagrams (e.g. EPLAN).
- You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
