Context

The IUFRS has the fundamental mission of training and research in the field of care. The Institute designs, deploys, and ensures the quality of a master’s and doctoral level training offer as well as research activities in its areas of expertise, namely nursing sciences and health sciences. It aims to train a university-level new generation for practice, training, and research. IUFRS places at the centre of its concerns evidence-based nursing practice, scientific rigour, safety, and quality of care for patients, families, and relatives. The successful candidate will have as their main mission to assume responsibilities in terms of teaching, coordination, and development within the Master’s programmes at IUFRS together with the programme leaders and the Vice-Director for Teaching.

Mission

Job responsibilities:

• Ensure direct teaching and supervision activities
• In collaboration with the master’s programme leaders, coordinate teaching responsibilities
• Under the supervision of the master’s leaders, ensure the coherence and quality of these programmes
• Participate in the institutional life of IUFRS.

Profile

Desired profile:

• PhD in nursing sciences or "Doctor of Nursing Practice" or any other training considered equivalent
• Training and extensive experience in teaching at master’s and postgraduate levels
• Training and extensive practical experience as a specialised nurse practitioner
• Experience in clinical supervision and student assessment
• Strong interest in interprofessional collaboration
• Good knowledge of the Swiss health system
• Good knowledge of French (mother tongue or minimum B2, C1 ideal) or ability to acquire it quickly, and English
• Record demonstrating impeccable professional conduct: the successful candidate must provide all guarantees of integrity and compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of the position.
