Transport Manager (m/f/d), 100%

Your contribution to our team

As a transport manager and communicative leader, you take overall responsibility for the transport department in Wallisellen with a total of 33 employees. In a second step, you will gradually take over the professional coordination and management of transport operations throughout Switzerland with about 90 employees, as well as the cost responsibility P+L in the transport area. In this role, you report directly to the Head of Logistics Switzerland. You ensure an efficient transport organization with consistently good quality and continuously optimize routes considering economic efficiency. You manage the vehicle fleet, ensure proper maintenance of the vehicles, and monitor service planning. For this position, we require IT affinity and knowledge of track and trace.

Your profile

• Federal Diploma HFP as Transport Manager
• Several years of professional experience in the transport and logistics environment
• Sound knowledge in organizing and optimizing transport processes
• Familiar with the legal framework conditions in road traffic and transport
• Leadership skills and experience in managing teams
• Confident handling of transport management systems
• Structured, independent, and reliable working style
• Willingness to gradually take responsibility for the entire transport area in Switzerland (approx. 20% travel activity)
• Driver's license category BE / light commercial vehicle (3.5 t) with trailer
• Willingness to work at night
• Fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form, French is an advantage
