To meet the regular needs of our exceptional industrial partners located in the Vallée de Joux as well as in the northern Vaud area, we are looking for a passionate and meticulous CNC Setter (M/F).

CNC Setter Mechanic (M/F)

Your mission:

• Adjustment and start-up: Adjustment, equipping and preparation of CNC machine tools (milling, turning, bar turning) according to adjustment sheets and manufacturing orders.

• Plan reading: Autonomous interpretation of manufacturing plans, technical sheets and high-precision geometric dimensions.

• Machining and production monitoring: Starting series, adjusting cutting parameters and correcting tool gauging to ensure optimal production.

• Quality control: Rigorous self-inspection of produced parts using conventional and optical measuring instruments, ensuring strict compliance with applicable tolerances.

• First-level maintenance: Routine maintenance of equipment, cleaning of workstations and reporting of technical malfunctions.

Your profile:

• Training: You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a Precision Mechanic, Polymechanic, Microtechnician or an equivalent qualification.

• Experience: You have at least 2 years of successful experience in a similar position in industry (knowledge of the Swiss industrial fabric is a real asset).

• Technical skills: You are autonomous in reading plans, master the use of control instruments and have good knowledge of common programming languages.

• Personal qualities: Analytical mind, meticulousness, rigour and ability to integrate quickly within a team.

Conditions:

• Start date: To be agreed

• Contract type: Long-term assignment.
