Legal Officer
Office for Primary Education and Sport | 60-80 % | Chur
The Office for Primary Education and Sport (AVS) belongs to the Department of Education, Culture and Environmental Protection of the Canton of Graubünden.
The Services and Finance Division is responsible for the central administrative, legal and financial tasks of the Office for Primary Education and Sport. It supports the various areas of the office with legal and organisational questions, processes official documents and matters, and ensures internal procedures as well as cooperation with cantonal authorities and external partners.
We are looking for aLegal Officer for 60-80 % starting 1 February 2027 or by arrangement.
- You bear the main responsibility for the legal matters of the office and are the central contact person for legal questions internally and externally.
- You advise the office management and employees on legal issues and support them in the legal assessment of projects and assignments.
- You support the office management with general and specific staff tasks as well as in the preparation of statements and the processing of enquiries and assignments from the department.
- You independently handle legislative projects and accompany them from conception to implementation.
- You have a completed university degree in law.
- Ideally, you have professional experience in administrative law and/or public administration.
- You have good knowledge of the administrative law of the Canton of Graubünden or are willing to acquire this knowledge thoroughly.
- You are interested in political and social issues and understand how to assess legal contexts in a broader framework.
- You are characterised by analytical and interconnected thinking, a quick grasp of matters, as well as a structured and independent way of working.
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills and can convey complex legal matters clearly and appropriately for the audience.
- You work solution-oriented, reliably and responsibly and convince with a confident and trustworthy manner.
- Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage.
