Apprenticeship as Laboratory Technician EFZ Biology (m/f/d)
The research unit Forest Health and Biotic Interactions investigates the influence of insects, fungi and microbes on forest health. Their Phytopathology group offers an apprenticeship starting in 2027
Thanks to our rotation system, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the world of insects, trees, fungi and microbes. During your training, you will learn a wide range of methods, from classical insect identification and microbiology to modern DNA techniques. The inter-company courses at the ETH Zurich training laboratory complete the practical training at our institute.
You attend secondary school level A and have good grades in mathematics and natural sciences and technology. In addition, you have a strong interest in scientific questions and working methods. Your strengths include a quick grasp, good manual skills and enjoyment of precise work. You like being outdoors and are not afraid to help with fieldwork. For this varied apprenticeship, you should be motivated and resilient.
