As an Examination Expert BAV, you take on a key role in the qualification of our train drivers and thus make an important contribution to safety and quality on our railway lines. In this versatile position, you combine operational experience with pedagogical skill. Whether in the cab, training room or during examinations: you ensure that our employees are not only excellently trained but also motivated and future-oriented.

For our VTE Specialist Management department, we are looking for you as an Examination Expert BAV VTE from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Examination Expert BAV VTE

• Testing and promoting knowledge: You are responsible for planning and conducting BAV competency tests and internal specialist examinations
• Developing learning and examination materials: You create and revise new training and examination materials according to current didactic standards and BAV requirements
• Contact person and enforcement for specialist questions: You are the contact person for specialist questions regarding VTE, FDV and local regulations. You share responsibility for consistent implementation
• Support and quality assurance: You regularly accompany VTE-certified employees and thereby strengthen sustainable quality in operational and occupational safety
• Organisation and regulation creation: You are part of the VTE Specialist Management team, plan training sessions and actively shape the implementation regulations
• Train traffic and driving service deployments: You safely and reliably operate trains on the Jungfrau Railways network and directly contribute your practical experience

• Completed vocational training or A-levels: Completed apprenticeship (EFZ) or Matura as well as a qualification as a train driver (at least category B60)
• Pedagogical flair: Adult education certificate (SVEB I) present and enjoyment in passing on knowledge, as well as convincing and clear communication
• Railway experience: Several years of professional experience in public transport as well as sound knowledge in driving service
• Strong communication skills and digitally proficient: Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form as well as confident handling of MS Office
• Personality with impact: Team player, clear communication, assertiveness, didactic skill and a structured, solution-oriented working style characterise you
