As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you ensure that Germany's largest rail transport fleet is always kept running at the highest quality.

• As a project engineer, you take responsibility for the successful implementation of diverse projects of various sizes and complexity levels, focusing on electrical and mechanical engineering
• Coordinating project teams as well as all internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration among all parties is one of your main tasks
• Timely construction execution and adherence to budget guidelines for your projects are also within your area of responsibility, as is ensuring the quality of the work
• You conduct contract negotiations with contractors and companies, review and evaluate offers, and participate in awarding external services
• Additionally, you ensure stable plant availability in our maintenance facilities
• You bring a successfully completed technical or university degree as an electrical engineer, mechatronics engineer, mechanical engineer, or comparable qualification. Alternatively, you have successfully completed further training as an electrical technician
• You have already gained initial professional experience in the field of energy plants and infrastructure – ideally in plant engineering – and have ideally been able to independently manage projects
• Completed further training as a responsible electrical specialist is an advantage but not mandatory
• You are familiar with contract management and contract law (e.g. VOB, HOAI)
• Teamwork is natural for you, and you contribute actively and pursue your goals with conviction
• With your communication skills at all hierarchy levels and your negotiation skills, you successfully advance projects together with planning offices and other contractors
