We are looking for you as a Second Machine Operator Tamping Technology (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at the locations Bad Hersfeld, Frankfurt am Main, Fulda, Gießen, Hanau, Kassel, Koblenz or Mainz as soon as possible. Your tasks:

• You operate and control machines for tamping technology at changing construction sites
• The professional leadership of the assigned machine operators during the temporary absence of the First Machine Operator is part of your duties
• You assist with the recording of mobile time management in the area of responsibility
• The execution of maintenance work in the workshop during the temporary absence of the First Machine Operator falls within your area of responsibility
• You take care of necessary repairs and ensure machine availability / operational readiness
• The undertaking of transfer drives between construction sites is part of your tasks
• You coordinate the construction process with the construction management and the client during the temporary absence of the First Machine Operator
• Furthermore, you support the First Machine Operator and take over their tasks as a deputy if necessary
• You are a construction machinery master, mechatronics master, IHK master in track construction or have a comparable completed training with several years of solid professional experience
• You bring several years of experience working on tamping machines
• Initial professional leadership experience is an advantage
• Willingness to work irregular hours and frequent weekend and night shifts characterises you, and teamwork, initiative, flexibility, commitment and loyalty are among your strengths
• You bring a high level of resilience, commitment, mobility, independence and sense of responsibility
• Preferably, you have completed your training as a railway vehicle driver or locomotive driver with TFS and additional certificate (Class A + B)
• A valid driving licence class B for the necessary mobility completes your profile
