Plant and Equipment Builder in Field Service German-speaking Switzerland Region Energy Systems Sector

Bring your technical skills directly to our customers: Avesco AG is looking for a motivated plant and equipment builder in field service for exciting projects in the energy systems sector.
Your tasks
- Installing, assembling, and aligning emergency power generators and plant components
- Manufacturing, laying, and welding cooling water pipes and exhaust systems
- Independently performing maintenance, servicing, and repair work on emergency power systems, dynamic uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and industrial engines (installed e.g. in locomotives, special vehicles, ships)
- Conducting monthly test runs and functional checks
- Diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving faults
- Ensuring commissioning of systems and plants
- Carrying out tasks at customer sites (deployments lasting days or weeks)
- Deployments throughout Switzerland from home location (ideally in the Zurich, Aargau/Oberaargau, Bern/Biel, or Basel regions)
- Providing on-call service
- Assisting in the workshop
Your profile
- Successfully completed mechanical basic training as plant/equipment builder, construction mechanic, or construction machinery, agricultural machinery, or truck mechanic
- Experience in TIG/MAG welding is mandatory
- Very good knowledge of combustion engines
- Ideally professional experience as a service technician in field service or strong motivation to enter this field
- High willingness to travel and geographic flexibility
- Independent, precise, and reliable working style
- Enjoyment in communicating with customers
- Good German and English skills
