Introduction

The Adliswil school educates around 2000 children and young people in kindergarten, primary, and secondary levels. Over 500 employees in 7 schools and various specialized areas are committed to this responsible task with great dedication.

Of the approximately 2000 children, about 900 attend an extracurricular care program at their school (lunch table or afternoon care until 6:00 pm). The two areas of teaching and care work closely together in everyday school life.

Your tasks at a glance

Teaching and Care Department:
Under the guidance of the responsible teaching staff: You relieve as a class and student assistant and support the teachers in carrying out socio-pedagogical tasks (e.g., temporary takeover of care tasks for a strong student group, as play companion and support in homework help, open teaching forms) as well as in situations with increased care needs during lessons. Under the professional guidance of the responsible care staff:
You support and relieve in the care facilities, e.g., in caring for children with increased care needs, as a school route companion, during leisure activities, playing and as a companion during homework completion, support at the lunch table as well as in holiday care. Cross-disciplinary support:
You participate in school projects (e.g., internet research for excursions and school trips, renovation of the library, building a database), support documentation and administration, work in school quality management, during project weeks and days, accompany class camps, support projects of school social workers as well as at sports days and take on tasks in building service/maintenance.

What we expect from you

You have completed vocational training or a secondary school diploma. In addition, you ideally have experience and enjoyment working with children (from 4 years old) and young people (e.g., scouts) and are willing to take on a role model function. Your understanding and skill in dealing with children with special needs complete your profile. Ideally, you have training in the socio-pedagogical field and are a J&S leader.
