Optometrist (60-100%)

Responsibilities

• Independent execution of ophthalmic and optometric examinations within the clinical routine under the supervision of our ophthalmologists
• Management and active support of premium consultations
• Conducting technical examinations such as:
  • Autorefractometry
  • Visual acuity testing
  • Intraocular pressure measurement
  • OCT, biometry
  • Topography
  • Visual field measurements
• Assessment and interpretation of examination results
• Prescription of spectacle prescriptions and fitting of contact lenses to simulate refractive options
• Close cooperation with doctors and medical staff
• Opportunity to take on additional tasks and responsibilities if interested

Job Requirements

• Completed studies as an optometrist (BSc) or certified optician
• Registration in NAREG as an optometrist is an advantage
• Professional experience in an ophthalmic environment is desirable
• Strong sense of responsibility and careful working style
• Enjoyment in dealing with patients
• Willingness for regular further training (at least according to SBAO guidelines)
• Flexibility to cover other locations if needed
