Optometrist (60-100%)
Responsibilities
- Independent execution of ophthalmic and optometric examinations within the clinical routine under the supervision of our ophthalmologists
- Management and active support of premium consultations
- Conducting technical examinations such as:
- Autorefractometry
- Visual acuity testing
- Intraocular pressure measurement
- OCT, biometry
- Topography
- Visual field measurements
- Assessment and interpretation of examination results
- Prescription of spectacle prescriptions and fitting of contact lenses to simulate refractive options
- Close cooperation with doctors and medical staff
- Opportunity to take on additional tasks and responsibilities if interested
Job Requirements
- Completed studies as an optometrist (BSc) or certified optician
- Registration in NAREG as an optometrist is an advantage
- Professional experience in an ophthalmic environment is desirable
- Strong sense of responsibility and careful working style
- Enjoyment in dealing with patients
- Willingness for regular further training (at least according to SBAO guidelines)
- Flexibility to cover other locations if needed
