On behalf of our client, Sulser Waagen GmbH, we have been entrusted with the search for a new site manager. As a holistic solution provider for scales and weighing systems, they serve customers from industry, trade, retail, butchers and gastronomy, from shop scales to crane scales, from slicing machines to vacuum packaging. For the Herisau site, we are looking for an established personality to lead it independently.

Site Manager 100% (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• You take over the operational, personnel and organisational overall responsibility for the Herisau site with 7 employees and ensure that processes, resources and quality are coordinated and that the site functions successfully.
• You lead, coordinate and develop the on-site team with a clear, appreciative hand, plan deployments, set priorities and create an environment in which responsibility is gladly assumed.
• You actively and solution-orientedly advise existing and new customers on scales, machines and system solutions of our client, recognise their actual needs and thus contribute directly to the growth of the site.
• As a central interface between customers and service technicians, you ensure smooth information flow and make sure that concerns quickly reach the right place.
• You ensure the smooth running of day-to-day business and, if necessary, also get involved in technical service yourself; your hands-on mentality makes the difference.

Your profile:

• You are an established, responsible personality with entrepreneurial thinking and a hands-on mentality combined with several years of experience in managing a site or business unit with your own P&L responsibility.
• Furthermore, you have experience in sales and consulting, ideally in a technical environment or with capital goods. Knowledge of measuring devices is very welcome.
• Technical understanding is central; a basic training as a service technician or comparable practical experience is expressly welcome; a higher education (FH/HF) is an advantage but not a requirement.
• You have a commercial flair or basic knowledge of business administration and work independently, precisely and service-oriented.
• Fluent German skills as well as a category B driving licence are required.
