At the Meiringen Private Clinic, people with all forms of mental illness find admission, treatment, and care. The third largest psychiatric clinic in the canton of Bern is open to patients from all over Switzerland and abroad and is responsible for inpatient psychiatric basic care in the eastern Bernese Oberland. Care and support are provided according to the current medical-psychiatric and nursing knowledge. The Meiringen Private Clinic, as a member of the "Swiss Leading Hospitals", is one of the leading private clinics in Switzerland.
In the psychiatric-psychotherapeutic centre for young adults in Thun (PZJE), we treat young adults aged 16 to 25 with disorders from the entire spectrum of psychiatry with comprehensive psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment. The centre comprises 30 inpatient beds, has a 24-hour emergency admission obligation, and is primarily run as an open ward and, if necessary, on a protected ward. Treatment is carried out according to the latest evidence-based medical, therapeutic, and nursing knowledge.
Your tasks
- Main responsibility for implementing patient-oriented professional nursing within the framework of the nursing process and key worker system
- Commitment to high-quality nursing in the sense of best practice
- Active participation in the interprofessional treatment process
- Co-responsible for organisational, personnel, and professional management in cooperation with the centre management
- Representation of the centre management in their absence
- Taking over personnel management of employees in secondary level II and milieu therapy
- Participation in interdisciplinary treatment meetings
- Contributing to the improvement of quality and process workflows
- Supervision and guidance of students and trainees in everyday nursing
