About the job
VENIO is a vascular medicine centre with two locations in Thun. Our focus areas are the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the arteries, veins and lymphatic vessels. We run an interdisciplinary wound clinic and care for patients with obesity.
The VENIO team consists of four doctors, twelve nursing professionals and assistants, three physiotherapists, three compression specialists and a nutritionist. Together we care for patients from the entire Bernese Oberland as well as from the Thun agglomeration.
Your profile
- You are aiming for the specialist title in Angiology and already have several years of clinical experience, preferably in the field of vascular medicine.
- Doctors aiming for the specialist title in General Internal Medicine with an above-average interest in sonography are also welcome.
- The position is also very suitable for specialists in Angiology who enjoy working in a team and want to take the step towards private practice.
- You have a cantonal professional practice licence.
- You have good sonography skills, ideally with a sonography certificate in the vascular module SGUM, or a strong interest in sonography and the desire to obtain this certificate.
- You are resilient, committed, reliable and solution-oriented.
- You have a friendly, patient-oriented and positive attitude.
- You have at least B2 level proficiency in German, both spoken and written.
Your area of responsibility
- Depending on your qualifications, you independently or under supervision run your own patient consultations.
- You independently or under supervision perform duplex sonographies.
- If suitably qualified, you support us in the interventional treatment of phlebological patients, for example with sclerotherapies, laser therapies, ETA and phlebectomies. Alternatively, you have the opportunity to learn these procedures with us.
- You independently carry out administrative tasks according to instructions.
- If you have a special interest and are suitably qualified, there is the possibility to perform or learn arterial interventions in exchange at another B-clinic in the canton of Bern.
