The Nidwalden Tourism Association was founded in December 2012 and is the official contact for tourism service providers in the canton of Nidwalden. We network local tourism organisations, service providers as well as partners and are responsible as the cantonal tourism organisation for marketing the tourism offers.
We are looking for a:
Project Manager Partner and Product Management
Role and Responsibilities
- Partner Management / Regional Manager: You manage the regional budget of the partner municipalities (Ennetbürgen, Buochs, Beckenried, Emmetten, Seelisberg, Isenthal) and are the central face as well as the trusted contact for the local tourism organisations (LTOs) and service providers.
- Project and Offer Development: You design, develop and implement new offers, events and projects together with the partners on site and look after existing offers. In addition, you prepare regional content for handover to our marketing team.
- Infopoint Supervision: You look after the own Tourist Information in Beckenried as well as the partner infopoints and strategically further develop the physical information points of the region.• Networker: You maintain regular exchange with the municipalities, LTOs and service providers and take over the leadership of commissions and project groups.
Requirements Profile
- Education or further training in tourism, project management or a related field as well as professional experience in the tourism industry
- Knowledge in project management, budgeting and controlling
- Communicative personality with a convincing and strong argumentative presence
- Knowledge of the region or enthusiasm to quickly become rooted in it
- A very high degree of personal responsibility, pronounced creativity, solution-oriented thinking and the ability to move confidently in a self-organised environment form the basis.
