We are recruiting our future Group Legal Manager
Location: Sonceboz-Sombeval
As Group Legal Manager, you play a key role in securing the Group's activities and supporting operational teams in an international industrial environment.
A true business partner, you handle all legal matters related to commercial activities, regulatory issues and data governance.
Reporting to the Sales / Marketing & Legal Director, you are at the heart of the Group's strategic challenges and oversee the legal function, including managing the Intellectual Property Lawyer.
Your missions:
- Contract law & operational support
- Manage contract management (including negotiation, drafting, review and structuring), from both sales and purchasing perspectives, to establish the company’s best contractual practices;
- Analyse clients’ standard contracts and identify risks
- Support sales teams during negotiations
- Conduct legal analysis of claims and participate in dispute resolution
- Raise awareness of legal and compliance risks as a defence strategy to reduce litigation;
- Collaborate and coordinate cases with external law firms in Switzerland and internationally
- Contribute to the structuring and continuous improvement of internal processes (incl. TQM)
- Compliance & regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Monitor issues related to compliance, safety and occupational health
- Data protection
- Advise the company on matters related to personal data protection
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and the Swiss nLPD
- Review IT contracts and aspects related to data governance
- Intellectual property
- Supervise and support the lawyer in charge of intellectual property, and manage related matters
- Act as interface with external counsel and operational teams
