The Zug Canton Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1,200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various fields. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatients and more than 70,000 outpatients. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency centre.For our Public Pharmacy, we are looking for a Pharmacist from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Optimal care of our patients at hospital discharge within the framework of pharmaceutical discharge management
- Competent pharmaceutical advice for our outpatients
- Validation, optimisation and support of drug therapies across a broad treatment spectrum
- Close collaboration with medical and nursing staff, providing expert information and contributing pharmaceutical expertise in therapy decisions
- Administration of vaccinations
- Support of innovative projects for continuous development
- Pharmaceutical care of external institutions
- One fixed day per week plus Saturday duties on a rota
Your profile
- Federal diploma as a pharmacist (or recognised foreign diploma)
- Professional experience in a public pharmacy desirable
- High quality and responsibility awareness, reliability, teamwork and resilience
- Professional competence, communication skills and confident appearance
- Enjoyment and interest in clinical pharmacy and interprofessional collaboration with all hospital departments
