About the job
You are not a passenger – you are the "Pilot".
You want to make a difference with AI and your potential, something that really matters – the healthcare of tomorrow? Then steer it with us.
Who we are
We build digital health platforms for Switzerland. Since 2012, from Technopark Winterthur,
ISO 13485-certified. An interdisciplinary team of around 30 people from IT, medicine and practice – the rare combination needed to build software that doctors, insurers and patients truly trust.
We are currently writing our next chapter: from proven products (RocketHealth, VIVA-Health, SWICA Benecura) to the modern latest solution, our cloud-native, AI-enabled health platform that connects healthcare providers, insurers and people in a seamless ecosystem. AI is not a buzzword for us, but an architectural principle – a philosophy to achieve goals and go beyond.
Your role
As AI Product Pilot, you are the person who navigates between customer, business and an increasingly AI-driven development – and keeps the course. You combine product ownership, requirements engineering and technical project management with a genuine sense of what modern AI can do today.
What you do
As AI Product Pilot …
- … you are the first point of contact for our customers and translate their needs and processes into clear, actionable requirements.
- … you recognise where properly applied AI creates real added value, and shape epics and user stories from this, enabling development to start immediately.
- … you align customer vision, business and engineering towards a common goal – ensuring everyone shares the same picture.
- … you manage complex software projects and keep quality, prioritisation and deliverability on track.
- … you use modern AI tools and automated development processes purposefully to improve faster with the teams – and to optimally meet and delight customer needs.
- … you build domain knowledge and long-term customer relationships, sustainably bringing together the interests of our customers and Helmedica.
- … you actively shape and design the vision and goals of Helmedica – as part of the interdisciplinary team.

- Several years of experience in complex software projects – in technical project management, business analysis, requirements engineering or product ownership.
- Confidence at the interface between business, customer and software development.
- Genuine interest (or already experience) in AI-supported development: GenAI, LLMs, AI-driven software – you want to be at the forefront here.

- High customer orientation and enjoyment in bundling different interests into viable solutions.
- Clear, target-group-appropriate communication – with techies as well as non-techies.
- An independent, pragmatic and solution-oriented working style as well as confident appearance.
- Knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system or standards such as ISO 13485, MDR, nDSG is an advantage.
- Fluent German, technical English is an advantage.
