As an operational license manager at Bison GROUP, you ensure the correct management of our software licences and create transparency about inventories, contracts, and usage data. With your careful working style, you support the departments in the efficient and licence-compliant use of our software.
THIS IS WHAT YOU DO
- You are responsible for operational license management and implement the overarching license strategy in daily business
- You design, maintain, and update the relevant processes and data on software inventory, usage, and license rights
- You create evaluations and reports as a basis for decisions
- You check the licence-compliant use of our software and support ensuring compliance
- You support internal license reviews and work in cross-departmental task forces if required
- You advise service owners, management, and other stakeholders on all questions regarding license management
- You participate in ICT procurement projects and contribute your expertise
THIS IS WHAT YOU BRING
- A completed vocational training, for example in the commercial sector, IT, or logistics, ideally supplemented by higher professional training (e.g. business informatics or a comparable further education)
- Professional experience in license management or a related field such as IT service management, preferably in an IT service environment
- Enjoyment of conceptual work as well as the ability to analyse complex issues and develop practical solutions
- An independent, committed, and pragmatic personality who takes initiative, questions the status quo, and actively shapes change
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
