Employee: Assistant (with qualification in Health and Social Assistance or SRK Nursing Assistant)

Your tasks in the care team

• You accompany and take over parts of the basic care of our residents of the "B" and help shape their daily lives.
• You assist with domestic tasks.
• You focus on the resources of the people.
• You support the care team.

Our residents expect from you that

• "you are cheerful, take your time and respond to us";
• "things don’t always have to be rushed with you";
• "you really listen to us – not like 'Airolo–Göschenen'";
• "you work with us in a pleasant tone and don’t boss us around";
• "you enjoy doing things with us, such as baking, reading aloud, playing or making music";
• "you accompany us to the Gelateria di Berna and eat an ice cream with us";
• "you respect our privacy".

Ideally, you bring with you

• High social competence, empathy and dealing with people on an equal footing;
• Mandatory qualification "Health and Social Assistance" or SRK "Nursing Assistant" course;
• Professional experience and motivation to learn in long-term care;
• Good German skills, spoken and written;
• Humour and team spirit
