We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our shop floor across several areas in our department Piece Part Repair at Zurich Airport. If this sounds appealing to you, we encourage you to apply for our Surface Treatment Specialist position.
As a Surface Treatment Specialist you will:
- Prepare engine components (e.g. leaning, masking, degreasing)
- Perform surface finishing processes (e.g. paint, coating, plating)
- Conduct mechanical finishing tasks such as grinding and blending
- Carry out self‑inspection and document results
- Operate and monitor treatment processes and equipment
- Follow safety, quality and chemical‑handling standards
- Apply 5S and support continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile
- Completed technical apprenticeship (surface treatment, mechanics, production, or similar)
- Experience in paint, coating, blending or plating
- Reliable, accurate and quality‑driven work style
- Team‑oriented, flexible, dependable
- Good German skills (minimum B2); English beneficial
- Willingness to work 2‑shift
- Basic IT skills
