Actuarial Internship for Master’s Student (m/f/d)

Do you want to put your actuarial science knowledge into practice within a specialised and collaborative team? Join our Risk Management & Reporting team at Provident Fund and take advantage of this internship of up to 5 months to write your master’s thesis in a company setting.

What You Can Achieve With Us

Within the team, you will participate in the analysis and development of actuarial models used for our life insurance products. You will make a concrete contribution to the actuarial modelling of disability cases pending payment as part of your master’s work.

You will analyse data, document actuarial processes, and take part in the continuous improvement of the tools and methods used by the team. Depending on your profile, you will also have the opportunity to develop solutions in Python or other quantitative analysis tools.

In collaboration with actuaries, product specialists, and business teams, you will contribute to concrete projects and develop a deep understanding of how life insurance and private provident schemes operate.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, quantitative finance, or equivalent training in progress
• Strong interest in life insurance, provident schemes, and quantitative analyses
• Good programming skills, ideally in Python or R
• Analytical ability, rigour, and a synthetic mind
• Curious, collaborative, and proactive personality
• Excellent command of French; knowledge of German is an asset

The Actuarial Risk Management & Reporting team consists of actuaries and specialists who work closely together in a professional and open atmosphere. Regular exchanges and knowledge sharing are an integral part of our way of working.

Your workload is negotiable between 80% and 100%. The workplace is in Nyon and you benefit from a flexible working model as well as teleworking possibilities when the activity allows.
