About the job
To strengthen our central service product management, we are looking for a Product Portfolio Manager in Service (m/f/d). In this role, you will be responsible for the central control, standardisation, and further development of our global service product portfolio – from service contracts to service programmes to digital services. You will lay the foundation on which sales, pricing, marketing, and technical implementation in our companies (HQs) are built.
Shape the future of Körber Pharma's service business – as the central architect of our global service product portfolio.
Do you want to actively help build a new, central product management function? Do you think strategically, understand markets and customers, and want to take responsibility for a growing portfolio? Then you are exactly right with us.
Your role in our team:
- You are responsible for the central control and continuous development of Körber Pharma's global service product portfolio – from service contracts (e.g. Körber CARE) through service programmes (e.g. Ramp-up) to digital services (e.g. Condition Monitoring).
- You define and standardise the service portfolio throughout the entire lifecycle and bundle individual offers into clear, sales-ready packages.
- You create and maintain the global portfolio roadmap – including strategic prioritisation, buy-&-partner evaluations, and continuous portfolio analysis.
- You systematically incorporate market opportunities, competitive analyses, and customer needs (Voice of Customer) into the portfolio strategy and work closely with Market & Business Intelligence.
- You develop governance for product management in service and establish a binding, standardised product development and stage-gate process across all Körber Pharma companies.
- You manage the pricing strategy at the portfolio level and develop different offering packages and modules in which products and services are sensibly bundled and structured for different customer needs.
- You work closely with the Product Lifecycle Managers of our companies (HQs) and ensure the interface between central portfolio strategy and local technical implementation.
- You drive process excellence forward, including through data-based and AI-supported improvements, and measure success using clear KPIs such as contract coverage, recurring revenue (ARR), and installed base conversion.
- You are a central driver of our service strategy and contribute significantly to sustainably scaling our service product portfolio.
In short: You are the central driver for structure, growth, and differentiation of our service portfolio in a demanding pharmaceutical market.
Your profile
- You have a degree, e.g. in industrial engineering, business administration, or engineering, or a comparable qualification with relevant, several years of professional experience.
- You bring several years of experience in (service) product or portfolio management or business development, ideally in an international, technical, or industrial environment.
- You have experience managing product or service portfolios throughout the entire lifecycle as well as building and further developing standardised product management processes.
- You have sound knowledge in market, customer, and competitive analysis as well as in developing and implementing value-based pricing and packaging strategies.
- Experience with stage-gate processes and portfolio governance in a decentralised, internationally positioned organisation is an advantage.
- You think strategically and at the same time have the ability to implement concepts pragmatically and bindingly in a matrix organisation.
- You present yourself confidently and have the necessary assertiveness in interaction with various companies (HQs) and management levels.
- You convince through communication skills, initiative, drive, and entrepreneurial thinking.
- You have very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- You are willing to travel internationally (5-15%) within Europe and to the USA as well as to visits to group companies, customers, and partners.
Your benefits
- Shape a new central function: Take on a newly created key role with high visibility at management level and actively help build central service product management.
- Shape our service strategy: You will have the opportunity to significantly influence the strategic development of our service portfolio from the very beginning.
- Take responsibility and make an impact: Your decisions and impulses have a direct influence on the further development and scaling of our global service business.
- Work with short decision-making paths: Flat hierarchies and an open, direct working culture enable a high implementation speed.
- Develop yourself further: Exciting training opportunities and diverse development perspectives support you in continuously expanding your professional and personal skills.
- Work flexibly: Benefit from flexible working hours and the possibility of mobile working.
- Benefit from attractive remuneration: We offer fair and performance-based pay as well as advantageous social benefits.
