- Prepare water samples and carry out trace analysis with highly sensitive measuring devices.
- Evaluate complex measurement data, interpret mass spectra and reliably identify substances.
- Develop, validate and optimise analytical testing procedures.
- Maintain measuring devices, independently resolve minor malfunctions and ensure functionality-
- Help shape laboratory processes and participate in projects.

- You want to make an important contribution to the quality and safety of Basel's drinking water with your work.
- Experience in validating demanding testing procedures as well as practical experience with GC-MS and LC-MS.
- Completed training as a laboratory technician EFZ specialising in chemistry.
- You are familiar with ISO 17025 and confidently implement the requirements in your daily laboratory work.
- Enjoy precise laboratory work as well as the evaluation and interpretation of complex measurement data.
