Münsingen is a central municipality in the Aare valley, has two large school centres and an external location. In the Rebacker school centre, there are 6 kindergarten and 11 year groups in the lower school this school year. We want to keep moving and further develop and strengthen the pupils, ourselves and the school. For this, we also work across centres and subjects.

Tasks
From 1 August 2026, we are looking for a specialist teacher for Textile Design for 4 lessons. You will teach independently in half-classes of two 3rd year classes. The lessons take place on Wednesdays from 8.20 am to 11.50 am.
The semester planning can be coordinated with the teaching staff. Depending on preference, cross-subject collaboration with the class teachers can also take place, for example for individual school events.
Requirements
You have already completed the Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education (or are about to). You are interested in this action-oriented subject and the creative work with the pupils. Ideally, you already have experience with Curriculum 21. The pupils get to know different materials, tools and manufacturing techniques and try them out independently. A diverse selection enables experiments, fosters curiosity and supports exploratory learning. Basic craft skills are developed and safe handling of tools is practised.
We Offer
The room for Textile Design offers a pleasant learning environment and is located on the ground floor of the Mittelweg school building. It is fully equipped, sewing machines are available for every pupil.
We are very well accessible by public transport. Parking spaces (subject to charges) are available.
