Team Assistant Partnerships & Philanthropy (80% - 100%)

To strengthen our Marketing and Communications team in Zurich, we are looking for a committed personality as Team Assistant Partnerships & Philanthropy (80% - 100%) starting immediately or by arrangement.
In this varied and central role, you are an important interface within the department and contribute significantly to the success of managing funding partners with your organizational, administrative, and communicative skills.
YOUR TASKS
- Event organization: planning and coordination of events as well as logistical support for team events
- Fundraising support: organization of micro mailings, research and initial contacts with foundations, formatting of project documents, reports and presentations, translations of short texts
- Administrative and organizational support: appointment coordination, meeting organization and minute-taking, invoice and expense processing, travel and material organization, mailings, acknowledgments and general team assistance
- Financial and data management: maintenance of the database (address changes, campaigns, projects), booking and rebooking control, updating project financing, statistics and evaluations
- Interface and team support: collaboration with the finance department, Helvetas USA as well as teams in Romandy and Ticino; onboarding of new colleagues; participation in cross-team tools (SharePoint and other internal company tools)
REQUIREMENTS
- Completed commercial basic training
- 3–5 years of professional experience in a comparable administrative function
- Very good German skills as well as good knowledge of French and English
- Confident handling of MS Office and experience with databases
- Organizational talent, teamwork skills and an independent, structured way of working
- Interest in development cooperation and Helvetas’ goals
- Advantage: experience and knowledge in the field of development cooperation
