Your area of responsibility
- Professional leadership and coaching of the Operational Procurement team
- Responsibility for operational procurement and related processes including further development of documentation in the form of process descriptions, work instructions and quick guides
- Further development of the key performance indicator system, conducting analyses and promoting knowledge transfer within the team
- Continuous improvement of procurement processes along the entire supply chain
- Ensuring timely material supply through efficient material requirements planning (MRP) and regular review of material requirements
- Active collaboration with strategic procurement, production, planning, logistics and suppliers to ensure delivery capability
- Responsibility as key user of procurement for the ERP system (identification and resolution/reporting of system and data inconsistencies affecting MRP quality) as well as support in digitalisation and process projects

What you bring
- Commercial or technical basic training with further education in purchasing, supply chain management or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in operational procurement or disposition in an industrial environment
- Sound knowledge in material requirements planning (MRP), inventory management and supplier control
- Very good ERP knowledge (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM) as well as confident use of MS Office
- Strong affinity for process optimisation, digitalisation and data-based working
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented personality with pronounced implementation strength and high initiative
- Strong communication skills as well as enjoyment of professional leadership, coaching and cross-departmental collaboration
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills; French skills are an advantage
