The Grand Age Division of the Eben-Hézer Foundation brings together five medico-social establishments and several medico-social reception structures (SAMS). This Division offers services related to the elderly person including long-term care, advanced age psychiatry, short stay, day care (CAT), protected apartments as well as the Bonnettes production kitchen.
Our support aims to respect the choice, desire, and dream of the resident or beneficiary and is strongly influenced by the Montessori method. We strive to offer places where it is good to live in all circumstances.
To complete our teams in the Geriatrics division of the EMS Home Salem in Blonay St Légier, we are looking for committed, warm, and dynamic professionals for the following position:
Experienced ICUS
80 to 100%
Your tasks are organised around coordinating the teams of 2 units associated with supporting the residents under this mission, benefiting from the active support of an ICUS already in place.
You will be responsible for good care practices in Geriatrics, the joint and partner management of 2 units in their resources and shared visions, the quality of care provided to residents, associated administrative activities, and participation in the life of the home.
As a specialised nurse, you are expected to support the teams and care to which you will bring an expert perspective. You also manage relationships with families and close carers as well as partnerships with doctors during medical visits.
As a manager, you will be involved in managing administrative, financial, and human resources aspects – in close collaboration with the Site Manager.
Your profile:
You hold a HES Nursing Diploma or an equivalent qualification with solid professional experience in geriatrics. (For foreign qualifications, recognition by the Swiss Red Cross is required)
You have successful management experience and hold the related training.
You have recognised and successful experience in Geriatrics and/or clinical specialisation in this field.
You possess a high level of social competence and a clear and convincing communication style.
You manage your team with kindness and partnership.
You demonstrate the ability to work independently, have a sense of teamwork, versatility, and constructive leadership.
You are available and flexible, showing exemplary behaviour.
You are an experienced user of PLEX tools and familiar with the PLAISIR tool.
You participate in preventive and therapeutic measures in collaboration with other support teams on site and network partnerships.
You promote the vision of comprehensive and personalised resident support, applying the principles of the Montessori method, Humanitude, or similar.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in the elderly field and strong interest in seniors.
Proficiency in common IT and planning tools. (CAREFOLIO an asset)
