Your Area of Responsibility
- Two-year practice-oriented further education to become a certified expert in intensive care nursing NDS HF with
a close theory-practice connection. - Acquisition and deepening of professional skills in the care, support and monitoring of patients requiring intensive care.
- Shared responsibility for professional action in
acute, complex and rapidly changing situations. - Continuous competence development through alternating theoretical lessons at the Bern Nursing Education Centre and practical work at Interlaken Hospital.
- Deepening of intensive care nursing skills during one semester in the intensive care unit of the Hirslanden Clinic Beau Site with a focus on
surgical specialties, especially cardiac surgery. - Interdisciplinary collaboration as well as linking nursing expertise with medical therapy concepts.
- Active participation in clinical decision-making processes and patient-centred care.
- Holistic care of even the most seriously ill patients, taking into account
their individual needs and quality of life. - Support, advice and assistance for relatives in demanding treatment situations.
Your Competences
- Completed training as a certified nursing professional HF or Bachelor of Science in Nursing FH.
- At least 6 months of professional experience after completing diploma training in an acute care ward.
- Strong ability for interprofessional and multiprofessional collaboration.
- High sense of responsibility as well as pronounced observation and decision-making skills.
- Calm, prudent and solution-oriented action.
- High resilience, flexibility and organisational skills.
- Empathetic and patient-centred care of patients and relatives.
