We are looking for you to support our real estate development team in Zurich as our new committed, dynamic, and motivated Project Manager Real Estate Development (m/f).

In this responsible and varied role as Project Manager Real Estate Development, you will take overall responsibility for development from the initial idea to the building permit.

• Coordination of the development of own promotions and third-party projects in the residential and commercial sectors, from site evaluation to building application
• Conducting site inspections and assessments as well as analysing utilisation potentials and locations
• Preparation of feasibility and project studies including cost, revenue, and risk assessments as well as land value and profitability calculations
• Preparation of land offers for purchase rights and purchases as well as participation in negotiations; management and coordination of external planners, architects, and specialists; tendering and awarding of planner services as well as coordination with authorities and other stakeholders
• Preparation and support of study assignments and competition procedures, including usage clarifications, commissioning planners for studies and concepts, preparation of tender documents, and creation and presentation of offers
• Preparation and comparison of investor and financing documents, including cost, revenue, and gross/net yield calculations, financing and leasing calculations, model calculations, project budgets, as well as payment and rough scheduling plans
• Creation of key data sheets and factsheets as well as submission of proposals to management
• Submission and revision of purchase offers as well as collaboration with future investors considering their wishes and participation in the acquisition of potential investors
• Preparation of profitability calculations for joint ventures
• Development of requirement programmes and specifications for new build and refurbishment projects, as well as coordination of special use and partial zoning plans

Your profile

• You have training in the construction or planning environment and want to actively shape demanding real estate projects
• Training as an architect, engineer FH / ETH, or spatial planner
• Preferably with further education, e.g. CAS in real estate development or MAS in real estate and/or project management
• Several years of professional experience in project planning of residential and commercial properties in Switzerland
• Very good knowledge of Swiss construction and planning standards as well as public building law
• Entrepreneurially minded, responsible personality with a strong awareness of quality and costs
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style as well as enjoyment in collaborating with various stakeholders
• Confident German language skills in spoken and written form as well as secure handling of common digital tools (e.g. MS Office 365; CAD/BIM affinity advantageous)
