Road Maintenance Worker
Technical Office | 80-100% | Chur
The Technical Office is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of cantonal roads, as well as for the implementation of hydraulic works and non-motorized traffic in Graubünden. In addition, we take care of the operational maintenance of national roads within the canton. The cantonal road infrastructure includes over 1450 structures, including bridges up to 90 meters high and tunnels up to 3 kilometers long. The challenges that the nature of our mountain canton presents in summer and winter make our work demanding and varied. As an office certified with the Friendly Work Space label, the health and satisfaction of our approximately 480 employees are particularly important to us. For this reason, we are committed to systematic health management in the company (GSA).
For the road maintenance section in district 1 Chur, we are looking for as of January 1, 2026 or by agreement a road maintenance worker
Tasks
- Carrying out road maintenance work in a small maintenance team
- Summer and winter service
- Clearing and repair work after accidents or natural events
- Monitoring the condition of roads and road facilities
- On-call service (both summer and winter)
