ICT Senior System Engineer - 80%-100% (m/f)

In this exciting role, you will be jointly responsible for the further development and operation of our customer systems. As a member of a small IT team, you will also competently support your colleagues with technical concerns in daily work. You are a doer type, very independent, good at communicating with customers, and able to prioritise well. At the same time, you are motivated to accompany our customers into the future in a competitive environment with the latest technologies.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU IF YOU …

• have completed training in computer system engineering
• have further technical/organisational training and hold a HF or FH certificate
• have very good experience with Microsoft and VMware server environments
• have sound expertise and several years of experience with storage and backup systems (HP, Fujitsu, Acronis, Synology)
• enjoy providing support via telephone and TeamViewer, mainly in German and, if language skills are available, in English, French or even Italian
• work analytically and are strong conceptually
• are flexible, resilient, reliable and have a high degree of personal responsibility
• have the qualities to solve exciting tasks with ambition and drive
• enjoy being on the road with customers and have a driving licence

YOUR TASKS

• Joint responsibility in the team for the proper operation of our demanding IT solutions directly at our customers
• Support, monitoring, updating and maintenance of customer systems remotely or on site at the customers
• Planning, preparing, migrating and maintaining IT hardware and software infrastructures
• Independent conception and implementation of customer projects in the SME segment
• System migrations in the areas of storage, virtualisation as well as backup and restore solutions
• Developing technical specifications and creating system documentation
