About the job
The La Pouponnière and L’Abri Foundation aims to work in favour of children and more particularly young children and their families, notably by welcoming them within its nine institutions: five child life centres (CVE), two emergency boarding schools, the mother-child educational reception (AEME), the meeting space service unit (UPER).
To complete our team at the La Pyramide Boarding School, we are looking for a:
Active Night Watch between 40% and 60%
Mission and responsibilities
- In tandem with another night watch, ensure the smooth running of the night in the living area, for a group of 10 to 12 children, aged 0 to 6 years
- Ensure the protection and safety of the children, watch over their well-being
- Manage emergency reception of children during the night if necessary
- Coordinate with the educational team and pass on useful information
- Assume the logistical activities inherent to the role
Profile sought
- Basic training related to social, health or childhood fields (for example CRS health auxiliary)
- Experience in care of newborns and young children
- Experience in night watch in a similar environment, an asset
- Good personal organisation, autonomy, adaptability and priority management
- Excellent listening skills, empathy and team spirit
- Availability during the week and at weekends
- Clean criminal record
