Specialist in Facility Maintenance, 100% (Seasonal)

Tasks

• You support a team of specialists in the maintenance, as well as the commissioning and decommissioning of the pool water treatment systems and building services in the indoor and outdoor pools, as well as the paddling pools, and initiate appropriate measures if necessary.
• You regularly check rooms for cleanliness and safety and initiate appropriate measures if necessary.
• You periodically carry out measurements of operationally relevant data (e.g. air, water) and initiate appropriate measures if necessary.
• You assist in organising, maintaining, checking and repairing various systems and equipment and forward defects and pending issues to the responsible specialists.
• You support the office with simple administrative tasks related to the maintenance of the bathing and ice facilities if required.

Profile

• Completed vocational training as a Facility Maintenance Specialist with a federal diploma (EFZ) and a category B driving licence are mandatory
• Knowledge in the area of sports facilities, building services or electrical engineering is an advantage
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, as well as good communication skills in contact with internal and external customers
• Good user skills in MS Office and Android
• Commitment, reliability, ability to work in a team, good manners and an independent working style

It is the competence centre for sports promotion and provides sports facilities, as well as indoor and outdoor pools, to the active sporting population and clubs. The organisation of compulsory swimming lessons and voluntary school sports are also core tasks of the Sports Office.
