About the job

• Develop, review, test, and implement the use of AI solutions, for example, to predict network disruptions.
• Drive digitalization projects in network operations and disturbance management as well as automate monitoring processes.
• Ensure energy supply in the Basel-Stadt canton service area, monitor the network, and support in case of disruptions.
• Conduct network analyses and network calculations and ensure the ongoing optimization of processes in the network control center.
• Promote close collaboration with other departments (IT, Asset Management, Engineering, etc.) and support employees through change with training and education measures.

• You bring experience as an operations engineer and are proficient in the topic of power grids.
• Completed university degree in the electrical engineering field, complemented by IT training.
• You have already successfully implemented or strongly contributed to digitalization projects.
• Your affinity for various tools and AI is high – ideally, you have initial experience with programming languages and are well versed in SAP.
• Cross-departmental and proactive collaboration? You feel comfortable with that and bring together your and others' interests.
